It is officially the first day off fall. And it is the most beautiful day for it. It seems like overnight, all of the leaves have turned pretty shades of orange, red, and yellow. It makes my heart so happy and excited for everything that comes along with the season. I’ve always been a sucker for fall, especially these last couple years. I was very pregnant for the previous two summers (not this past one ;)) and they were hot ones, so I was very thankful when that cool weather came around. Too bad it only lasts about a month around here before the leaves and snow start to fall. So I try to take it all in while it lasts.
We all know this little lady loves to be outdoors. So of course we had to spend the afternoon getting some fresh air and soaking in the sunshine. I remember last fall how intrigued little Ella was with all of the colorful leaves. She would just sit in a pile and admire them one by one. I’m not sure if she remembers last fall, because it’s like watching her discover this season for the first time. I’m bummed that I didn’t get any good pictures of her with some leaves she has picked up, but I did get another batch of her picking flowers. There are not many around our townhouse, but she finds them. She’s my little flower child.
I can’t believe how big she is getting. I look at these pictures and think when did this happen?! Looking more and more like a little girl and less and less like a baby.
